Bereavement Networking Group

Lung Cancer Monthly Networking Group

Group begins with Q & A provided by an oncology nurse, followed by group sharing and support. The group provides a nurturing environment to learn about and discuss coping skills, disease management, and quality of life during and after treatment. Research shows that people participating in the program feel less stress, have better immunity, keep healthier diet and
exercise habits and feel greater social support. These sessions will help participants manage stress, learn ways to lessen
the impact of physical symptoms of cancer, and develop skills to cope with common problems faced by people
